Breckmarsh Diamond wins UGBA Open ESS Stake

All the dogs have been enjoying some water training during the hot weather.

Brook is awarded 2nd at the Abbeystead Estate cocker championships held on 4th, 5th Jan 2017. Brook completed two clean runs and had eye wipes in both. She showed off her pace, style and all-round gun sense and was just piped to the post by Dai Ormond.

Breckmarsh Brook has made herself up to FTCH today by winning the Glamorganshire open cocker. Many thanks to the guns; they were an excellent shot which allowed for great retrieves. The ground also lent itself well to showing off nice hunting dogs.

Cornermarsh Har Gill Lass of Breckmarsh (Pip) wins first time out at the West Midland Field Trial Society NAV held at Honiley Estate, Warwickshire. Both runs were in woodland and dense cover, but she attacked the heavy bramble with true determination making ease of her retrieves. Many thanks to Honiley Estate for hosting the trial.

Both championships were particularly cold and bitter this year. The weather was especially challenging at the Buccleuch and Queensberry Estate where we stood feeling cold and damp as the snow continued to fall.
